That's life

'That's life', a mixture of old songs that needed to be recorded. 'I'm gonna sit right down and write myself a letter' was inspired by the long running series Last of the summer wine. Compo sang it with Clegg and Foggy, and when Foggy danced at the end of song it brought the house down. It was a superb scene and I had to record the actual song. I loved doing this. A Dave Edmunds song 'Hang on' features as a tribute to our Dave who was very ill recently after a major heart scare. As it stands today, he is recovering at home thankfully. Disney's 'Everybody wants to be a cat' was requested by my brother Eddy who said why had I not recorded this? Well, I have now. 'I like it like that' and 'Lazy days and moonlit nights' are both songs that have been used in adverts recently, so here we are prolonging the life of these oldies but goodies. The banging beat of the Glitter band is recreated in 'Angel face'. An album track from Status Quo, 'Dirty water' is also on this veritable cornucopia of old songs. Enjoy all the tracks.
